Sometimes, people talk and i'm like "what in God's name are you talking about?" some of the things people say make absolutely no sense at all but at the same time it makes total sense to them. some expressions are so ridiculously ludicrous it's unbelievable. the worst part is that the society continues to use them all the time.
For example "all things being equal". how is that meant to make any sense at all? All things being equal to what? And in what way?
Also, "blood is thinker than water". And so? What does that have to do with anything?
"Drunk as a skunk" this expreesion raises just one question or more depend on you : " who was the loon that decided giving a skunk a drink was agood idea?" because if he didnt dream up that wanton idea then this expresion would not have seen the lightof day. plus i bet tthe end result wasn't pretty.
One of my favorite is when a friend says something like "you know what i mean" No i do not know what you mean on the account that you are talking total rubbish.
Or when people say "things are always in the last place you look" of course they are in the last place you look. you definitely wont keep looking if you found it. That would just be awkward.
Sometime my friends tell me i cant have my caKe and eat it. Cake is for eating why cant we eat it when we have it?
sometime we all just talk like loons but it's acceptable we all do and it brings beauty to our speech. that is the NAKED TRUTH. see i did it too..eh eh naked truth. right.
